To your first reply, as far as I can' tell the sound doesn't fluctuate--it's just one. Adjusting the equalizer from to practically anything reset the sound to where it was supposed to be again. Make sure content you submit is broadly interesting, not spammy, and contributes directly to the community. Maybe it had to do with memory allocation or something. You really don't need to worry about going with Win 10.

Some people found that fixed it. I know others have had this issue because they were installed on an external. So that would leave me stranded with new games then. Heck, winter is already here. This quite often happens after an upgrade to Windows 10 from an earlier version of Windows. No perfect solution, as windows 10 is underwhelming.

But I never had this issue on Windows 7. I reverted back to Windows 7 and the problem still persisted. Then they are telling you how to adjust the playback quality on your default output device, which is located on the 'Advanced' tab there. Especially since you can hit F5 every 60 seconds if you want, almost habitually and without notice, and the game does autosaves for you at most important events. Have you gained or lost fps? I guess I need to just keep Steam in the Win7 hidden icons and not keep it also minimized? It was the latest driver. I discovered that this issue is only with my back audio plug, but my front headphone jack is still working normally. The game will work fine. When I try to play any sound, even with everything at full volume, it's very low and sounds like it's muffled from far away. For anyone interested, the rollback to Win7 took less than 5 minutes. I skipped 8 entirely on this machine. You know what it is??? I say get rid of all the trailer parks and 90% of crime will go away! Presumably you changed the security settings for the folder as well? There's no up or down or volume change, regardless of if I'm play itunes or youtube, etc. This does not seem normal!
