It's very obviously not Europe. It should have been in a forest with fir trees, and not pine trees. Freya now has a starring role alongside Sir in Transformers: The Last Knight. Recently we're also covering the Civil War, Korean and Vietnam War War and more recent wars. After seeing the incredibly sad story of a recue dog called Freya in a news article, the renowned director decided cast the pooch in his upcoming Transformers movie.
The promo art for this ultra low budget film is totally deceiving. War isn't just about men jumping into foxholes and blowing stuff up. The documentary follows the conservationists, scientists and activists battling poachers and criminal networks to protect elephants and rhinos. Where this film falls down badly is the choice of locations. Modern warfare keeps him safe and disconnected from his prey. The other was the one house that the Germans invaded and took over in 'France'.
They were just young boys scared to death, and away from home. Not much is known about the new Transformers movie but we do now know that is one hell of a good guy. I didn't get to give it the 3. Houses used in the film are clearly not European, they look American. To the critics: Make a feature film with your own hands before you judge. Worse still it's not careful in its use of what is available. He is overwhelmed by feelings of guilt that he is unable to process.
The black and white stills in the beginning were beautifully photographed. Don't know what the bad reviews were about. Interesting film about the human condition in a time of great conflict. I thought the big muscled guy seemed more like a bear in a circus. Maybe they just don't like stories that show humanity in the face of war. This film isn't even an action movie, in my opinion, but more of a drama. But those two errors wouldn't stop me from recommending this movie.
Women played important parts in the war, and on the home front. Over 18,000 other adoptions from the sanctuary happened in the period that Freya was homeless and Michael Bay decided to give the little Staffie mix a change of luck. Whip pulls off a miraculous crash-landing that results in only six lives lost. It's not a perfect film- and there are so few-, but bravo to the cast, the crew, very well shot, good effects. It was suspenseful, and showed humanity on both sides. The one highlight of the film was the supporting lead Tino Struckmann he is a very gifted actor, really good performance.
They take a high-ranking German officer as their prisoner and try to orchestrate an escape. One woman Vera Phillips who is his first love and whom he lost for ten year, while other one is his present wife Caitlin who is adventurous and felt same adventurous nature in this charismatic poet, Dylan Thomas, also. Nothing original at all and that seems sad because there seems to be potential for what could have been a great movie. It actually created a dialogue to talk about war and history, including veterans she knows who have served. Shaken to the core, Whip vows to get sober — but when the crash investigation exposes his addiction, he finds himself in an even worse situation. The movie has some obvious flaws in regard to accents, locations, costuming. Which is my only negative thing in the movie.
The story is long and drawn and simplistic! His luck runs out when a disastrous mechanical malfunction sends his plane hurtling toward the ground. Argunners Magazine is also a central resource offering the latest stories, articles and news related to war history. The Last Animals song composed by Emmanuel Jal is a tribute to the last Northern Whites rhinos on the planet. There were only two things I found that didn't seem quite right. The acting was really good, as was the writing. Shortly after D-Day, three American soldiers and two Army Corps nurses are stranded behind enemy lines.
Not once is there a huge battle like that! It is more of a story about how people on both sides of a war experience real human emotion: fear, shame, anger, resentment, distrust, a will to survive. The storytelling is reasonable, if predictable, and the acting is actually quite good. I like it that the nurses were not left out of the picture. Other than those two things, the movie was very good. Just sad the movies story did not match a great performance, just as it is a sha. One has to remember that during the war, many of the troops didn't always talk and act 'military'.
